This is us! Amanda, my husband Tim, my son Nathan and daughter Bianca. Don’t forget Lucky, our 13 year-old mixed Chihuahua. We are the Constables! We are a very fun family, always on the go with something to do. We love the outdoors, like adventuring and checking out new places. When you are a busy family it’s good to make time for meals. Good home-cooked meals. You don’t need that much time to cook a good meal. I cook every day, and I love it! We learned how to cook on a budget. I’m a huge sale/clearance shopper. We like getting a good bargain!
Tim and I are both from Moncton New Brunswick. We have been married for just over 17 years. Although we have had many ups and downs over the years, we wouldn’t trade it for the world! I love my family. Couldn’t ask for a better best friend.
We moved out to Calgary, Alberta 16 years ago with Nathan who was just a baby at this time. We had enjoyed Alberta very much for many years. We grew a lot, learned a lot, and the experiences we had of living in a big city have been great for the most part. Although some not so great! In 2020 we planned for big changes, new beginnings for our family. A different way of life.
We moved back home! Back to New Brunswick, pretty exciting. We have plans, big plans! We look forward to our future and what it has in store for us.
Tim is a Red Seal Electrician, Senior Cabinet Maker, I’d say jack of all trades! His brain is wired that way, Im some proud of him. He does all the BBQing and does help me from time to time in the kitchen. He also runs this website. I went to culinary school in New Brunswick. I learned a lot but I am mostly self taught. I also attended 1 year of Chinese Cooking course, that was so fun. My passion is cooking, cooking for others and I love cooking with cast iron. We are enjoying serving up food down at the Marche Moncton Market
