Skip to content These are awesome!! We’ve only made them twice now but have turned out great both times. 1CUP flour 1TSP yeast 1/2TSP cinnamon 1/2TSP salt Mix top four ingredients in bowl set aside. Cream in another bowl 2TBSP sugar & 2 large eggs Add in Gradually the flour mixture til combined then pour 1/4CUP Milk, mix til incorporated. To make all the above fritters, I doubled this batch. Put in Oiled bowl, covered til doubled in size. I use a well floured surface and roll out dough in a rectangle shape. I place 1quart of my homemade apple pie filling covering half of the dough-you store bought filling if you want. I flip the dough over covering all the pie filling. Then I take sharp knife and cut it all up into cubes. I take 3-4 cut squares and smooch together with my hands. Place on a non stick surface so they can rise and double in size about 45minutes to 1 hour. They will get pretty big but fritters are suppose to be large Deep Fry 350 about 3minutes per side. Once Cooled I glazed them in an icing sugar/milk mixture. Post navigation
