Get your baking pan ready lined with parchment or a non stick sheet. Non stick spray works fine too. Separate all the eggs white into big blobs on your pan depending on how many eggs you use, you’ll have that many blobs. I like to use a spatula for this. Then use spatula to make wells in the center of egg whites.Bake 450F roughly 3 minutes. Then take out and carefully slide in each yolk in the centre well. If putting some, you can sprinkle the pepper on now. Bake another 3 minutes.
These are excellent! I hope your family enjoys them as much as we do!
So proud of these kids right here, they wanted to learn and learning they are doing. Lucky did great at supervising he made sure recipe got done right and no messing were made lol 2CUPS warm water 1/2CUP white sugar 1 1/2TBSP active dry yeast 1 1/2TSP salt 1/4CUP vegetable oil 5-6CUPS all purpose flour or you can use bread flour
I always double this batch when we make it. Makes couple loaves and lots of rolls. Take your warm water, yeast, salt, sugar & vegetable oil. Mix all together. Let sit for a few minutes to activate yeast about 5 minutes or so til it’s nice and frothy. You want to add a cup of flour at a time til the dough comes together nicely. Between 5-6 cups of flour and more dusting
They did a great job, knead for atleast 7minutes. You can use a mixer if you prefer. Lucky loves to sit and watch hehehe
Put in an oiled bowl, cover and let rise for about 1 hour til doubled in size. They were so happy to learn the process of making bread. It takes a lot of patience and it’s one thing these kids have a lot of!
Preheat Oven to 350F. Spray your bread pans and pans with non stick spray. We like to do a couple different loaves shapes. One with one big oval and another with 3 larger balls.
Cover and let rise again for another hour. Some of the buns we use as burger buns so we put sesame seeds on them. After rising very lightly brush top of those buns with beat egg and sprinkle on the sesame seeds. We also like to use Everything Bagel Spice as well.
Bake 350F about 30-35minutes depending on your oven and the color you prefer.
When they come out of oven we brush with butter.
Nothing better then smelling homemade bread cooking in the kitchen!! The kids did everything from start to finish, they did well, very well.
This dish was excellent!! We loved it. It was super spicy and the flavours were amazing. You can omit the Chili’s and have it not spicy but I highly recommend it. Were cooking way too much during this isolation time but making new recipes while we stay home is great! Couple Legs of Crab Bowl of Raw Shrimp, Calamari, Clams, piece of fish, couple sausages of your choice. 2 lobster. Really the seafood is endless what you can put in. Corn on cob chopped up Back choy chopped up 6-8 cloves garlic 2inch ginger 12-15 thai chili peppers Bunch of green onions 2TBSP Sriracha sauce 2TBSP fish sauce 2TSBP Sweet chili sauce 2TBSP soya sauce 1TBSP crushed chilis 1CUP water 1TBSP each vegetable oil and sesame oil Roasted sesame seeds Half package – to full of vermicelli noodlesGet a big pot, roaster or I like to use my huge cast iron wok. Get the pan nice and hot add the oils, garlic, Chili’s, ginger, sausages and corn. Fry it all up til sausages are browned nicely. I then throw green onions in (saving some green onions and cut Chili’s to sprinkle ontop)While that’s going I steam and cut lobster’s in half. Add in all seafood minus the lobster, add in all your sauces and water.Cook high heat, stirring frequently for a couple minutes. While that’s going I boil Vermicelli noodles in another pot for couple minutes, drain and rinse well. Then add them to seafood pot and mix well.
Place all the steamed Lobsters around the top of pot and sprinkle with rest of green onions & chopped chilis and dig in! This is incredible and it’s not going to last long!
Anyone else doing lots of cooking during this Pandemic? This was fun and quite enjoyed in our house. When we make cookies we make big batches and freeze them uncooked in ready to go scoops. It’s perfect for when you just want to cook a couple cookies or a bunch of a potluck or something I like having easy things on hand to do. Here we have 3 types of cookies. Everything Cookies Double Chocolate Cranberry Cookies Oatmeal Raisin Cookies It’s nice to use different color cookies makes it look interesting. Ours reminds us of a cow, moooo lol.I press down all the cookies and make sure it’s spread all around we evenly.Bake 350F about 8-10 minutes.Let sit for 10-20 minutes then cut into wedges of your size. You can also cut into squares. We love making the big cookie. Let us know how you make out with yours.
When you sold your BBQ and in the process of moving, inside steaks on the cast grill work just fine!! We like to get the grill smoking hot. And brush with oil of your choice. We marinated steaks with some soya sauce on each and Montreal steak spice. Simple. Did that a few hours before cooking. We cook roughly 3-4 minutes per side.
We like to get the criss cross on it but you don’t have to get all fancy hehehe. After your 4 minutes per side. Take off heat and let rest for 10 minutes or so before cutting. We like to slice up before it goes on the plate so it’s all ready to eat :0). How do you enjoy your steaks? What do you marinate yours with?
