Fruity Bran Loaf
1/2CUP sugar
1CUP Raisins
1/2CUP dehydrated blueberries (or other dried fruits)
1 1/2CUPS mik
1 1/2CUPS All Purpose Flour
1TSP Baking Powder
1CUP chocolate we used left over Christmas Chocolates
Add the All Bran, sugar and raisins/blueberries into a mixing bowl. Add the milk and mix well.
Preheat oven to 350F
Line or grease a loaf pan.
I doubled this recipe, one loaf for the freezer. Packed full of fibre and tastes great!
Brandied Apple Crisp
1CUP Brown sugar
1/2CUP oats
2TBSP flour
4TBSP butter or margarine
Mix all together til resembles a coarse crumble
Top the apples. Bake 375F about 30minutes. til nicely browned ontop
Delicious!
Beef Curry
Pound of lean ground beef
1 Onion diced
1 Red or green pepper diced
2-3TBSP minced garlic
1 Can of diced tomatoes
1 Can of tomato soup/sauce
1 Can of chick peas, drained & peeled
1 1/2CUPS frozen peas & carrots
1/2CUP plain yogurt
Handful of fresh parsley
2CUPS beef stock/bouillon
2TBSP curry powder
1TBSP chili sauce/paste
3TBSP flour
1TSP salt
1TBSP Vegetable oil
Right before serving stir in yogurt & parsley.
