These have become pretty fun for us.
I made a plate for kids to share and for Tim and I to share.
Use heat safe soup bowls.
thinly sliced beef-your choice, we used top sirlion
2TBSP sauce- your choice, I put soya sauce, water, hoisin, oyster sauce, chilis, sesame seeds & green onions.
Top with vegetables-your choice, I used broccoli, broccoli stems & water chestnuts
Top that with beat eggs 2 per bowl and green onions

Mix meat with sauce on bottom of bowl. I didn’t do anything nice to this meat but you can place it nicer in the bowl on the bottom, which will result in looking nice when it’s flipped out. Beat eggs. Prep rest of Vegetables

I like to mold my rice too. Makes it look pretty. Gently tilt bowl over rice and flip out.
We like this bamboo steamer

Chocolate Peppermint Bark

Chocolate Peppermint Bark » RecipeCollage.com » October 7, 2024
I use a double broiler to melt the chocolate but you can do this in your microwave. This is a big batch. 3 foot long. We always make this around Christmas time, its always a huge hit.
1CUP milk chocolate plus TSP vegetable oil
1CUP white chocolate plus TSP vegetable oil
1-1 1/2CUPS crushed candy canes
Parchment Paper
Melt Milk Chocolate with the oil over double broiler or in microwave, once melted. stir well. I pour this out on a long piece of parchment on my island. I use back of spoon to smear it all out. I also tape the corners of my parchment paper down to my island makes it easier to smear. Doesn’t have to be perfect, as white chocolate is going down next. Let cool and set, now melt the white chocolate and oil, mix well. Smear that over top the milk chocolate. Top white chocolate with crushed candy canes. Let sit, cool, once hardened break into pieces.
Some like thicker bark, however we prefer it thinner.
