Another thing I threw together with things around the house! Tim said it tasted better then my Shepard’s Pie. It was family approved and we will definitely make again! Package of ground chicken 1 cut onion Vegetable oil Salt/pepper Pan fry til cookedAdd about 1/3CUP flour, stir, mix well. Cook couple minutes.You can either use 2 cups chicken stock or 2 cups water with a bouillon. Add in bring heat up. Stir til thickened.
I used mixed frozen veggies but you use the veggies you prefer. Topped the vegetables on the meat/gravy mix. Then I topped that with homemade bread stuffing I had in freezer, you can use stovetop stuffing, no one’s looking, go for it :0)!
Then finish it off topped with mashed potatoes. Bake 350 about 45minutes to an hour.I’m sure you’ll love it! I served some homemade cranberries with this as wellOur everyday Lodge user! Doesn’t leave our stove.
