Another Cold day in Alberta great day to do some baking! I will freeze half this batch. 2 1/4CUPS all purpose flour 1TSP baking soda 1 1/2TSP cornstarch 1/2TSP salt 3/4CUP Butter or margarine softened 3/4CUP brown sugar 1/2CUP white sugar 2 large eggs 2TSP vanilla extract 1CUP + chocolate chunks or chocolate chips. We used left over Christmas calendar Chocolates!Mix flour, soda, cornstarch and salt in one bowl. In another bowl cream butter and sugars together. Add in eggs mix well.
Add in your vanilla to the sugar mixture. Stir til combined. Mix flour bowl into sugar bowl until well incorporated and you get your cookie dough formed, then add in your chocolate. Mix inMakes about 40 1 1/2TBSP cookies. You can make large ones if you prefer. Bake 325F about 10-13 minutes.
These cookies are excellent!Anyone else do special things for their husband in the kitchen? My husband loves it, makes him feel special hehehe I made this one cookie for him almost 10 years ago but I still make him special stuff all the time :0)
