Now you have to take that sticky rice and pound the crap out of it. Great way to get some frustration out. I don’t have a big enough mortal & pestle or a good food processor at the moment (in process of moving!) I used a bowl and my rolling pin lol. Once I pounded it to a gooey glob, I added eggs, & rice flour. Pounded some more, til all rice bits are gone. Takes a little time and effort.
I had a bowl with warm water close by. The rice is sticky you need to use water on your hands to form cakes. Form all the cakes to the size you prefer. I like 2 bite size, however some like large ones.
I had two small plates one with some rice Seasoning and one with sesame seeds. I smooched some of the rice cakes into the plates to coat top of cake. Doing both flavours separately.
Pan fry in a little vegetable oil and sesame oil til they get some brown color on each side.
3rd time being cooked! Now they go in your steamer. I don’t do it to all them but some, I brush with soya sauce before steaming.

This stuff is excellent on so many levels! Can be used for a variety of things. One of my favorites, is for my hair! It’s dry in Alberta, I find it provides the best hydration. Excellent for the scalp, dry skin and gives an awesome shine!Lucky would be so happy LOL In Alberta we have a lot of international markets, grocery stores. We prefer these over the big name stores, excellent deals and good selection! Best of all, can’t beat the prices!Use a sharp knife. I like to use a cleaver. Cut the spikeys off down each side, then give pressure on top and run knife along bottom and top of Aloe.I use my mortal and pestle, you can food process this too. It’s watery, chunky, slimy, & fresh! Now lather that all into your lightly wet hair, & massage into scalp. Leave for an hour. Wash out
