Why not try to make some pork and shrimp dim sum? Just follow the steps below to get started.

Combine the following ingredients and mix very well:
Half pound of ground pork
Half pound of chopped raw shrimp
2-3 green onions sliced
1-2TBSP diced ginger
1TBSP soya sauce
2TBSP Chinese cooking wine
1TBSP sesame oil

Use thinly sliced carrots for the bottom of dim sums so they don’t stick to the steamer.

Pumpkin Pancakes » RecipeCollage.com » October 5, 2024 — Stayed up late to make some pancakes for the kiddos in the am. This is a fantastic recipe, these are excellent pancakes! The house smells incredible. Lucky loves being my little helper!
Dry ingredients:
4CUPS all Purpose Flour
5TSP Baking Powder
1TSP Salt
3TSP Ground Cinnamon
1TSP each Ground Ginger and Ground Nutmeg
1/2Cup each white sugar & Brown Sugar
2TSP Vanilla Extract
Wet ingredients:
1 can Pumpkin Puree (roughly 2+cups)
2 Large Eggs
1/2CUP melted butter or margarine
3Cups Milk
Measure out all the dry ingredients put in a bowl mix well, set aside. Measure out all the wet ingredients put in another bowl and mix well. Mix the dry and the wet ingredients together.

6-7 Chilies, minced
1TBSP crushed chilis
1/2TSP salt
2TBSP each Fish Sauce & cilantro
Shallots, red onion, green onion, ginger (optional)
1TBSP roasted rice powder (optional)
2TBSP Sugar or honey
4TBSP Lime Juice
Mix all above in bowl. Put in fridge to let all flavours settle for a couple of hours. Enjoy!

Put in boiling water for about 10-15 seconds. Just want to shock them and make them more pliable to be able to knot. Knot, twist all your garlic scapes. Set aside.

Little bit cut up chilis & cilantro (optional)
1 egg
Splash of soya sauce, Chinese cooking wine & squeeze of lime
Mix all together, very well. I used a teaspoon to put filling on both sides of garlic scape. And all around, kinda enclosing the knot inside. Put in fridge and let marinate for an hour.

This recipe will show you how to make some fried wontons. Our family loves it when we serve these.

I place about 1TSP + filling in each. I don’t make mine fancy lol, I just bring all my corners up together and smooch them together haha
