Now fold up the edges well and seal foil. We normally throw these right onto the fire pit beside the fire/flame but today we tried the cast iron tripod and put them in dutch oven over the fire. It worked very well.
They take roughly 6-8 minutes that depends on how high heat or flame you have. You want the bananas nicely soften and everything melted. Hope you enjoy these as much as our family does.

Turkey Brine: 6 quarts water 1 pound kosher salt 1CUP Molasses 2CUPS 1CUP soya sauce 1TBSP each crushed chilis and sage add large bunch fresh thyme 2 heads garlic crushed 2 lemon zested Put all the above ingredients, in a stock pot and bring to a light boil. boil for a couple minutes. Pour 5 pounds ice in a bucket/pot large enough to hold turkey & brine, place turkey in and pour brine over turkey. Leave for Almost 12 hours. I do close to18hours. Take turkey out, pat dry removing as much liquid from turkey as possible.Deep fry as per your turkey fryer instructions. Our oven happen to be down this week awaiting for a part to arrive. We practically BBQ’d everyday. I find they work well cooked on a heavy pan/stone on bbq.
Bake til fluffed up and browned. You are doing it over an open flame so expect to have some darker spots then others. All contributes to the flavour.Slide off pan, cool, cut & dig in! Yummo!
