Peach cobblers are so simple. Minimal ingredients and they just taste great. I’m happy to be making this with my 2017 Okanogan BC peaches I canned!
1/2CUP unsalted butter/margarine
 1CUP all-purpose flour
 1CUPS sugar
 1TBSP baking powder
 Pinch of salt
 1CUP milk
 4 cups drained canned peaches
 Ground cinnamon or nutmeg (optional)

Melt butter in a 13- x 9-inch baking dish or I like to use my cast iron pan.
Combine flour, 1 cup sugar, baking powder, and salt, add milk, stirring just until dry ingredients are moistened. Pour batter over butter, do not stir.
Place peaches around the batter. Sprinkle with cinnamon, if desired.
Bake at 375° for 40 to 45 minutes or until golden brown.

I like to flip out. Serve warm or cold. Great with ice cream!
