The Dough 1/2CUP warm water 4TBSP white sugar & 1TSP yeast 2CUPSall purpose flour 1CUP cornstarch 1/4CUP vegetable oil 2 1/2TSP baking powder Put yeast, sugar and water in a bowl. Mix, then set aside until it becomes foamy. Place flour, cornstarch and sugar in another bowl. Mix. Add yeast mixture, oil and water. Mix until a smooth ball of dough forms. It should be soft and elastic, not sticky. Adjust with a touch of flour/water if required to get the dough consistency right. Add little oil to bowl. Cover, place in a warm dry place up to 2 hours until it doubles in size Turn dough out onto work surface, sprinkle with flour. Knead lightly. I make a ton of little balls out of the dough. Which I roll out. Fill with about 1TBSP of filling. I pinch the circle all around til it becomes closed. Repeat til finished.

Canned fish is so under rated! We eat canned fish. I buy canned tuna. I buy mussels, oysters, I buy canned crab. I buy canned mackerel. Yes of course I buy fresh but nothing wrong with canned either. It’s affordable and best of all tastes great. These were excellent and we could not wait to make them again! This was 1 small can of sardines in tomato sauce I bought at Dollarama. Take a bowl with some flour, parsley, garlic/onion powder, & cayenne. Mix together. Take sardines one by one and coat very well in flour mixture. Once all are coated.
Deep fry about a minute per side take out and put on paper towel, flip. Salt. Plate
These are super simple, tastes great. We like them. Take your favorite biscuit recipe. Roll out, use your cookie cutter of choice. Cut shapes. Take cookie and roll sides threw a bowl of cinnamon/sugar. Place in cookie sheet. First we pan fried in some oil got a nice color on both sides of flank. Added cut onions, celery, mushrooms, garlic, salt & pepper. Along with Vegetable oil. Fried for a few minutes, stirring frequently. Cover with beef broth and light boil for a few hours. Last hour add cut carrots, cut potatoes.
