Skip to content Chicken Carrots, onions, celery, bacon, mushrooms, thyme, water, salt & pepper Potatoes skin on Frozen peas Homemade stuffing Homemade cranberry sauce Pan gravy I always cut up 1-2 pieces of bacon very finely chopped and mix into my stuffing. I also always top my stuffing with bacon we well. So all that fat drips down. Not only adding flavour but keeping it moist as the same time. Bake uncovered about 40 minutes Add a chicken along with what vegetables you are using. I don’t normally put mushrooms with my roast chicken dinner but I like that mushroom flavour It gives to the gravy. So once in a while I add them. Top with some salt, pepper, garlic and thyme. Some rosemary if you want. I also top this with bacon. Who doesn’t want bacon! Baked covered about 1 and half hours. I normally always leave my skins on for mashed potatoes. Remove the chicken and vegetables. And make a pan gravy with the droppings. I also served with some boiled beets with this too
