What vegetables do you serve with your dinner? ChickenOnions, celery, carrots, turnip, parsnip, garlic. You can really use any any Vegetables you prefer. I like to cut big chunks with vegetables. Place chicken in Dutch oven and fill all the spots around it with your vegetables. I add about 1 cup of water. I top with some salt, pepper, rosemary & thyme. Cover. Bake 350 for just over an hour and then uncovered for a bit longer to get a color on your turkey.Once done take everything out and make a gravy with the droppings. I thicken this with a water/flour mixture. Serve with your favorite mashed taters and cranberry sauce
