If your not stuffing your jalapenos like this, your doing it all wrong lol! Look how good they look with their tops still attached. Clean jalapenos and cut rectangles out. Cut pepperoni to size of jalapenos. It is a little tricky to get the pepperoni in the jalapeno. But with patience they go. Use whatever back you prefer. My cheese filling was 2TBSP of cream cheese, 2TBSP of grated cheese (your choice) I added onions flakes, oregano, and garlic powder. Mix well. I shove a small scoop of cheese into each end of jalapenos. Put the pepperoni in. Fill remaining space with cheese. There isn’t much room left. Then add rectangle top back onWrap with bacon. Bake 425 about 30 minutes. Turn half way threw. The kids love these. Dip in pizza sauce
If your not stuffing your jalapenos like this, then your doing it all wrong lol. It’s pretty simple and look how pretty they look with their tops. My stuffing is 2TBSP cream cheese 6TBSP of 2-3 kinds of your favorite cheese For me, these are best with a variety on cheeses. I’m not much of a just cream cheese filler, I just want a little so it combines the other cheeses well. My spices I add to cheese mixture always varies. I say use your favorite. I like garlic, onion, Italian, crushed chilis, really anything can go! Cheese, Bacon & heat what else could one want?! Haha
I like to use a high quality bacon when doing these. We eat a lot of jalapenos. I buy a huge bag (about 22) at grocery store every 2 weeks.
Bake, and dig in fast cause they aren’t going to last :0)
Chicken Carrots, onions, celery, bacon, mushrooms, thyme, water, salt & pepper Potatoes skin on Frozen peas Homemade stuffing Homemade cranberry sauce Pan gravyI always cut up 1-2 pieces of bacon very finely chopped and mix into my stuffing. I also always top my stuffing with bacon we well. So all that fat drips down. Not only adding flavour but keeping it moist as the same time. Bake uncovered about 40 minutes
Add a chicken along with what vegetables you are using. I don’t normally put mushrooms with my roast chicken dinner but I like that mushroom flavour It gives to the gravy. So once in a while I add them. Top with some salt, pepper, garlic and thyme. Some rosemary if you want. I also top this with bacon. Who doesn’t want bacon! Baked covered about 1 and half hours.I normally always leave my skins on for mashed potatoes. Remove the chicken and vegetables. And make a pan gravy with the droppings. I also served with some boiled beets with this too
My local grocery store sells his habanero bacon. I love my spice. I bought it only the once to try as it’s insanely expensive. It was incredible. I was thinking to myself how on earth they can charge so much. For just habanero added in. I myself dehydrate a lot of stuff and habanero’s is one of them. It’s one of my favorite spices/powder I make.So I bought the cheapo bacon and sprinkled over my bacon on both sides while I cooked it. Well man, oh man. Why on earth I never think to do such a thing before?! I like spice, my hubby likes spice. My kids love bacon, it was a huge hit!Toasted Sesame Seed Bagel Fried Egg Bacon Romaine Grated cheddar Spicy mayo
