2CUPS roast pork chopped 1CUP pork gravy 1/3CUP barley 2CUPS beef stock/bouillon 1 onion diced 2 carrots diced 2 celery diced 2-4cloved garlic minced 1 1/2CUPS green beans frozen or canned or peas 4-5 peeled, diced potatoes 1 TSP parsley, thyme, salt & pepper 1-2 bay leaves We love making homemade soup, they really are easy. Packed with so much goodness and flavour. Throw everything into dutch oven, minus the potatoes.
Cover the rest with water and stir. Bring to a light boil and boil for about 1 and a half hours. Stirring occasionally. Looking to try a new Curry recipe? Ever try it with Ground Beef? This dish is packed with lots of flavour. Pound of lean ground beef 1 Onion diced 1 Red or green pepper diced 2-3TBSP minced garlic 1 Can of diced tomatoes 1 Can of tomato soup/sauce 1 Can of chick peas, drained & peeled 1 1/2CUPS frozen peas & carrots 1/2CUP plain yogurt Handful of fresh parsley 2CUPS beef stock/bouillon 2TBSP curry powder 1TBSP chili sauce/paste 3TBSP flour 1TSP salt 1TBSP Vegetable oil
I use a large Dutch oven, or bigger pot is fine. Add the oil and ground beef, cook til it starts to brown then I add in the onions, peppers, and garlic cook that down for a few minutes til Veggies start to soften.
Then put in your flour, salt, curry & chili sauce. Stir well, cook that for a couple minutes.
Then add in your diced tomatoes, tomato soup, beef stock/bouillon, peas carrots, & chick peas. Stirring well, picking up any bits sticking to bottom of the pan. Simmer on stove for an hour. Right before serving stir in yogurt & parsley.We serve this over some basmati rice! Lucky saids it’s bout time I’ve been waiting all day hahah Hope you enjoy this as much as we do.

I like to use my Dutch Oven for Soup, Stews and Chowders. Get your pot on a med high heat. Add in your butter, oil, Onions, carrots, celery, garlic, salt & pepper. Stir cook for a few minutes. Then add in your potatoes, stir, cook couple more minutes.
Add in your fish stock, and enough water to cover veggies. Bring to a light boil and boil til vegetables are tender. I take the flour and mix it in the fish and shrimp Bowl. Add in all your seafood and parsley. Light boil for a bit longer. Til everything is all cooked.Add your milk/cream and corn just a few minutes before serving. Stir well. Add more salt pepper if needed!Seafood chowder always changes, as the seafood you use is never the same. Little homemade oyster crackers to go with our chowder today. Yummy. Ingredients list: 1 large onion sliced (thin or thick whatever you prefer) 1 Serrano pepper sliced Carrots sliced, your way 2TBSP each diced ginger & garlic 1/2CUP green onions chopped 1CUP snow peas 1 Package of sirloin Stir-fry meat(or steak cut up) 1TBSP each of hoisin, white sugar (I used cane), & soya sauce 1TSP oyster sauce Sesame oil & Vegetable oil
We love beef stir-fry recipes, they cook up so fast and are filled with so much flavor, color, and textures!
I start with a hot cast iron wok, then add in oils and my cane sugar. I take my pack of Stir-fry meat and chop it up some more, add some salt, pepper, and soya sauce. Take all those ingredients and put them all into the wok. Stir-fry for just a couple minutes.
Next, add in all your veggies (minus green onions), sauces and mix. Cook high heat for just couple more minutes. Right before serving stir in green onions. As always, got my little supervisor making sure everything getting done right LOL We usually have with sticky rice, but sometimes noodles. 2CUPS white beans soaked 1 onion diced 2 carrots diced 2 celery stalks diced 2-5cloves garlic minced (we used 5) 3 CUPS Chicken stock/bouillon 3CUPS water 2TBSP Italian spice 1TBSP parsley Couple bay leaves Salt/pepper 1 Ham hockThrow everything in a Dutch oven and or large pot. Bring up to a boil and light boil for an hour. Adding more water if needed.
Remove the ham hock, I give it a rinse under cold water to cool it down quicker. Separate all the meat from the bone and chop up roughly.
Put all your ham hock back in, stir, remove bay leaves and serve.We don’t eat enough beans in this house, it was enjoyed by everyone. I love making homemade soups!I have the PC Choice brand but this is about the same.
