This was made from left overs, from my Portuguese Chicken dinner I made. Left over plate has Portuguese chicken cut, cooked carrots, cooked squash with skin, cooked corn and red & White onions. I also have my left over gravy pan full of bits and flavour I don’t want to get rid of. So put that pan over high heat, add couple cups of water to pick up all that goodness.Added to a Dutch oven. Cut fresh onions, carrots, celery, frozen peas & corn, cubed potatoes, the pan gravy, & the plate of left overs. Cover rest with water.Boil down til veggies are almost done then add in a bag of gnocchi. Should be nicely thickened when done. We love homemade soupWe have the PC Choice brand but this one is just as good.
This was so much fun and a huge hit. The house smelled incredible. All of us couldn’t wait to dig in. We love one pan meals. Whole chicken flattened whole onions carrots, parsnip, squash cut in dics, sweet potatoes, corn cob cut in half. I threw everything in a big bowl with 2 shallots, thinly sliced ½CUP (125 ml) olive oil 2TBSP (30 ml) store-bought piri piri spice 2TBSP paprika 1/2CUP (115 g) unsalted butter, softened 5-6 cloves garlic, chopped Salt & pepperMix well and plate nicely. I use my large cast iron pizza pan. Starting with my chicken first then start adding everything else.
Foil. Bake 350 couple hours. Remove everything from pizza pan, put pan over heat. Add some water, salt & pepper and thicken with a little flour/water mixture. Pour gravy over veggie plate and chicken plate. Enjoy that!
This was so fun. Took me some time to get all the ingredients together. We loved every dish.I’m not going to explain recipes. As I used and followed all the recipes on the boxes. These meals are so affordable and if your looking for something a little different with excellent flavours. I’d try some Indian cooking.Although this maybe not quite how someone else would make these dishes it is how I prepared themThey are all ready for the ovenLucky saids bout time, I’ve been waiting all day lol Served with some naan and rice
Very simple and fast meal tonight. Full of flavor. Pan fry up some chicken, frozen peas and cut up bamboo shoots. Cook til chicken done. Add a can of Thai Green Curry, heat. Serve with some basmati rice. When I want curry and it fast this is a go to for me! Lucky saids do I smell chicken?
I’m going to sit right here beside you. It’s a wonderful day outside. But windy. Got the doors open and the leaves a flying in lol. Happy Fall around here! Cut up boneless skinless chicken breasts, cut onions, garlic, onion, salt & pepper. Cook that up til chicken is cooked. If you like things with a little bite like we do add TSP cayenne or hot sauce. I use 1 1/2CUPS of cheese. 1/2CUP of cream cheese and 2 others. Add cheese stir til combined and cheese melted.Chicken, cheese, chicken, cheese, ok I’m sitting pretty lol.
