I like to use my deep 10 1/4inch skillet sprayed with non stick spray. Put your pizza dough in bringing up the dough all the way up the sizes. Doesn’t have to be all the way up cause it’s going to rise so more. Add in a bottom layer of cheese on the bottom. Then top with your Hamburg mixture then top with rest of chese. We always have atleast a cup of filling left that I normally use to made pizza bombs with.We let rise on counter for about another half hour.Bake in preheated oven at 425F roughly 25-30minutes
We don’t let it cool for too long, we dig right in
We only need one piece, it’s all you need! Thin crust is our favorite but we enjoy having this from time to time, it’s delicious. Let us know what you think.
1 pound lean ground beef or pork 3CUPS cooked sticky rice 2-3 sliced mushrooms preferrably shiitake mushrooms but any mushrooms work. 1CUPS cooked pork belly could use raw but I prefer cooked in this 3TBSP sliced green onions 2TBSP each garlic & ginger, minced 14-18 pieces of napa cabbage with stem cut off 2TBSP each soya sauce, oyster sauce & cornstarch 1 egg
I get the kettle going with water, and pour the hot water over the napa cabbage for about 5 minutes. Then drain. Mix everything in a bowl together minus the cabbage. I use my hands for this, you want it well combined.Get a work surface all prepped. I like to fill a few at a time so need some room. I take a good 3TBSP + of filling and make them inside cylinders in my palm. Put the fillings towards bottom near stem. Starting at stem roll up and over. Putting seal side down in your steamer.I had ran out of bigger cabbage pieces so made some with cabbage wrapped around a ball like a dim sum and then I ran out of cabbage lol so thinly sliced a few carrots and put the last filling on them, which I made into balls.
Gotta have a dipping sauce! 1TBSP each soya sauce, rice vinegar, garlic minced, and ginger minced 2TSBP sweet chili 1TSP sugar 1TSP crushed Chilis, optional Delicious sauce that can be used for a variety of stuff! The kids love it.
Steam about 30-40 minutes.
I say dipping sauce, nah, we pour that right on! Yum. We can’t wait to hear what you think.

Once Cooked remove from heat and add in next 3 ingredients 1/4CUP water 1/4CUP bread crumbs 1 egg mix until well incorporated
Lay out your pie pans, roll our your dough. Place bottom dough down, add your meat mixture, top with another pie crust. Pinch doughs all around the edges sealing the pieI freeze unbaked. When we make spaghetti sauce, we go big! We make a huge batch and we freeze for a later day! 2-2 1/2 pounds ground beef, I prefer lean 2 large onions, cut 2 green peppers, cut 8 celery stalks, cut 3 jalapenos, cut 1-2 large carrots, diced 6-8 mushrooms 6 garlic cloves Italian seasoning Oregano Basil Salt & pepper 6large cans of crushed/diced or whole tomatoes (we prefer scarpones fire roasted ones, any will do!) 6 cans tomato soup 2 cans tomato sauceI like to add all the cut veggies & spices to a bowl.Mix well.
I use two pots and divide beef up. Brown up the meat for a bit, put half the veggie mixture in each pot. Stir well. Cook for about 6-8minutes.Then divide all your cans of tomato stuff into each pot. In summer time when tomatoes are a dime a dozen. We use way less canned tomato stuff and make from scratch!
Stir, and simmer for a couple of hours. We got supper for four made out of this, 5 spaghetti sauce meals for family of 4 (roughly 5cups in each large freezer bag) for freezer and I also made up 8 lunch containers! My spaghetti is a big hit in our family! I hope you enjoy it as much as we do.
