Nacho Dip
4 sausages out of the casing
1 onion, 1 pepper, some garlic, 2 cut up jalapenos
Can of olives
1 1/2CUPS salsa
Cheese
1/2CUP Velveeta, 1/2CUP cheddar
Fry up the ground beef, sausage, cut onion, pepper, garlic & jalapenos. Once cooked, add the salsa and cheese. Once cheese is nicely melted and combined add in the can of olives. Stir.
We love this dip! Freezes well. Great potluck and make ahead dish.
Salisbury Steak in a mushroom onion gravy
Salisbury steaks
1/2 onion white cut small
1/2 cup breadcrumbs
1 lb/500g ground beef
1 garlic clove minced
1 egg beat
2TBSP ketchup
1/2TSP Worcestershire sauce
3TSP dijon mustard OR 2TSP dry mustard powder
Mix all together make patties. I usually make this recipe times four. I lay out all the patties on a cookie sheet and put in freezer to freeze. When frozen I take them out and throw them all in freezer bags. Put back in freezer. This is so that don’t stick together while in there.
1TBSP olive oil
2 garlic cloves, minced
1/2 onion, chopped
Handful mushrooms , sliced
4TBSP flour
2CUPS (500 ml) beef broth / stock
2TSP dijon mustard
2TSP Worcestershire sauce
Salt/pepper
Add the oil, cook onions, mushrooms, & garlic. Til onions are cooked and mushrooms are soft. Stir in the flour til well combined. Add your stock bring heat up to a boil, stirring frequently til thickened. Add on your mustard, Worcestershire sauce & salt/pepper. Reduce heat and add back in your burgers. Serve over a lump of mashed potatoes.

Garlic & green onions
Sirracha
Chili’s (optional)
Hoisin sauce
Balls:
Ground beef
Sesame oil
Crushed Chili’s (optional)
Green onions
Garlic & Ginger
Egg
Sesame seeds
Crushed cornflakes
Mix the sauce all together. Mix the balls all together. Put the balls in casserole dish and pour over sauce. Bake 350 about 30 minutes. Depending on oven and size of balls.
