Chili Pepper Shrimp Skewer » RecipeCollage.com » February 20, 2025 — We like spice. We eat a lot of spice. These can totally be done without the Chilis but we prefer everything.
Prawns
Inch long green onions
Sliced mushrooms
Thai Chilis with stem removed
These were done small, as an appetizer for Christmas Eve snacks.

1TSP each Hoisin, brown sugar, oyster sauce, soya & sesame oil. Mix well. Refrigerate for a couple hours.

Sweet chili
I ran out of bulls eye so I did some with sweet chili sauce. Those were great! Next time Ill do half on each sauce.

Love our Lodge Wok! It’s a beast but we love cooking in it. Although this other one at half the price is just as good!

Spicy onion pepper short ribs cut, onions cut, peppers cut in squares, & mushrooms whole. All threw in a bowl with my garlic chili sauce added. Mixed well.

Salisbury Steak in a mushroom onion gravy » RecipeCollage.com » February 20, 2025 — When I make Salisbury steaks I do about 20 of them and freeze raw til needed. Makes for a fast meal. These are so flavourful, hubby, the kids and I love this.
Salisbury steaks
1/2 onion white cut small
1/2 cup breadcrumbs
1 lb/500g ground beef
1 garlic clove minced
1 egg beat
2TBSP ketchup
1/2TSP Worcestershire sauce
3TSP dijon mustard OR 2TSP dry mustard powder
Mix all together make patties. I usually make this recipe times four. I lay out all the patties on a cookie sheet and put in freezer to freeze. When frozen I take them out and throw them all in freezer bags. Put back in freezer. This is so that don’t stick together while in there.

2 garlic cloves, minced
1/2 onion, chopped
Handful mushrooms , sliced
4TBSP flour
2CUPS (500 ml) beef broth / stock
2TSP dijon mustard
2TSP Worcestershire sauce
Salt/pepper
Add the oil, cook onions, mushrooms, & garlic. Til onions are cooked and mushrooms are soft. Stir in the flour til well combined. Add your stock bring heat up to a boil, stirring frequently til thickened. Add on your mustard, Worcestershire sauce & salt/pepper. Reduce heat and add back in your burgers. Serve over a lump of mashed potatoes.
