Beat eggs, milk, green onions, tomatoes, peppers, salt & pepper. Possibilities in this are endless. You put what you like.
I don’t use any non stick spray. I just put the meat in. Pour egg mixture in each slot. Top with your favorite grated cheese. Baked in my lodges at 425 about 20-30 minutes. Til fluffed up and brown.
I just love my cast iron skewers, super cool! Spicy onion pepper short ribs cut, onions cut, peppers cut in squares, & mushrooms whole. All threw in a bowl with my garlic chili sauce added. Mixed well.
We eat lots of stirfrys. we always have lots of colorful vegetables in the fridge so it’s always different! Today was: Red Onion, carrots, celery, garlic, ginger, yellow pepper, & broccoli. When I’m not doing a meat Stirfry. I always start with my onions, celery, & carrots first. I normally use my wok but today just my cast iron frying pan. Make sure you have high heat. Little vegetable oil cook couple minutes, then I add garlic, ginger, salt & pepper. Then put the broccoli, 2 TBSP soya sauce and 1/2CUP water. I add in some cut Chilis now. We eat a lot of spice. I put Chilis in everything. This is always optional and the heat can be what you want. TSP each of Hoisin & Oyster sauce. Add the peppers in cook another minute or two. I thicken this with a cornstarch/water mix. Stirfrys are great.Lucky says I’m just going to lay right here!Garlic wings are marinated in a soya sauce, water, lots of minced garlic, ginger, couple tablespoons of brown sugar. Salt and pepper. I like it to marinate overnight. But 4 hours would be good enough. I put everything in a cast iron casserole dish and bake 375 about 40 minutes turning half way threw! Lucky saids, I’m ready for some chicken hehehe
Cleaning out the fridge! I take a huge bowl. Fill it with sausages, cut small sweet pumpkins into 4 discs, cut onions, cut peppers in half, celery & carrots on bigger chunks. Cut jalapenos length wise and then in half. Add in Vegetable oil, Italian spices, rosemary, lots garlic, salt & pepper. Mix this into everything.I use my cast iron pizza pan. I lay out the 4 pumpkin discs first. I fill with 2 sausages each. Then start filling the pan and holes with the remainder of vegetablesDoesn’t that look so pretty?!
Well it does taste as good as it looks! Serve with a side of Mash. Lucky awaiting for his plate :0)
We love quiches they are so versatile, you can add omit anything. They taste great. Fry all the veggies up. We used onions , 2 peppers, leeks, & garlic.Once Vegetables are tender add in your cooked ham.Homemade or store bought pie crust is fine. Prebake.To my Vegetable & ham mixture I added 5 beaten eggs, handful of Arugula, and some cheese balls cut up.Bake 375 for about 30 minutes I top with some grated cheese a few minutes before done.Let cool a little bit.
