We love pizza!! We can’t wait to have a pizza oven. Til then BBQ or oven will have to do. Had some tomatoes and jalapenos that needed used. Since the fridge needed cleaned out this week, thought it would be great to make veggie pizzas. One thing we love about pizza is you literally can put anything on them!
2 flatbreads 1/3CUP pizza sauce Sliced tomatoes Sliced jalapenos Sliced onions Diced garlic Fresh basil & parsley Grated mozzarella or cheese of your choice Top with some parmesan Preheat oven 425FLay your flatbread out on a cookie sheet and spread some pizza sauce on-top,
We put some shredded cheese next add your toppings of choice. Then top with some more grated mozzerolla and parmesan
Bake 12-14minutes. Depending on your oven. Til crisp and cheese has browned. We cut into inch wide fingers. How do you make your flatbread pizzas?
Pizza dough half to 3/4 pound ground beef 1 onions (optional) 4-6 cloves garlic 1 jalapeno (optional) Container of mushrooms (optional) 1TBSP Italian spice I can tomato sauce 1 container/jar of pizza sauce Ball of fresh mozzarella sliced 2CUPS grated mozzarella You want lots of sauce and lots of cheese. Fry up everything in your frying pan once meat is browned add in your sauces and mushrooms. Combine well and cook on low heat til mushrooms are cooked.
I like to use my deep 10 1/4inch skillet sprayed with non stick spray. Put your pizza dough in bringing up the dough all the way up the sizes. Doesn’t have to be all the way up cause it’s going to rise so more. Add in a bottom layer of cheese on the bottom. Then top with your Hamburg mixture then top with rest of chese. We always have atleast a cup of filling left that I normally use to made pizza bombs with.We let rise on counter for about another half hour.Bake in preheated oven at 425F roughly 25-30minutes
We don’t let it cool for too long, we dig right in
We only need one piece, it’s all you need! Thin crust is our favorite but we enjoy having this from time to time, it’s delicious. Let us know what you think.
Who doesn’t want a pizza Quesadilla? I know Lucky does lol. This is so simple. These are made with my homemade flour tortillas but you can use store bought tortillas as well. Now spread your tortillas out and top your pizzas. We went with simple tonight. Pizza sauce, pepperoni, mozza cheese, & crushed chilis It’s pizza so anything goes. You top them with that you like. Bake 425F about 12-15minutes til nice and crisp on bottom but still pliable to be able to fold.Take out of the oven fold in half immediately and cut into wedges. I cut them in 4 pieces each. Can you see me.. I’m way back there hehehe just making sure momma is serving it up soon!
The kids love them. Super simple, they cook fast and taste great!
3CUPS warm milk (we used skim) 2TBSP brown sugar 3TSP salt, plus extra large Corse salt for sprinkling ontop 2TSP yeast 9CUPS all-purpose flour, plus more for work area if needed 4TBSP melted butter or margarine 1CUP each pizza sauce, pepperoni, & grated mozzarella 9CUPS water 1/2CUP baking soda 1 large egg, whisk
Mix together the warm milk, sugar and salt. Sprinkle the yeast on top, and wait 5 minutes for the yeast to bubble up. Add your flour to a big bowl and make a well in the centre of flour. Pour your yeast mixture in centre and melted butter all around. Mix well. Knead for 3-4 minutes til smooth. You can use a stand mixer. I just use my hands. Cover dough ball and bowl with a little bit of oil, cover bowl and let rise about 1 hour til double in size. This recipe makes 24 regular size Pretzels. We made 12 salted and 8 larger pizza ones. This recipe can definitely be cut in half.
Put the dough out onto a lightly oiled floured work surface and divide dough in half then each piece into 12 equal pieces each. Roll out each piece of dough into about 20 inch rope. Make a u-shape with the rope, then cross the ends over each other and bring them down to bottom and press them into the bottom of the U in order to form the shape of a pretzel.
Preheat oven to 450F. Line large baking pans with parchment or non stick baking sheets. Combine the water and baking soda in large pot, bring to boil and then reduce heat. I can usually get about 2-3 pretzels in pot at a time depending on their size. Light boil each pretzels about 30 seconds. After you boil them, lay out on non stick cooking sheet on a large cookie pan. Brush the egg wash on and sprinkle the coarse salt ontop. For Pizza ones, after done boiling them, put on lined cookie sheet, put pizza sauce all around them, then pepperoni then top with cheese.
Bake 450F about 10-12minutes depending on oven and depending on the color you want on tops.
We made an excellent creamy cheesy beer sauce to go with pretzels. Lucky saids, pretzel and cheese sauce gimme gimme.
Anyone want to have some tasty pizza sliders? Just follow the easy recipe below to enjoy these great pizza sliders today!
Ingredients: 12 pack dinner rolls sliced in half Pizza sauce Pepperoni Cheese (your choice), we like getting a deal on cheese! Slider glaze: 1/4CUP melted butter Chopped parsley Dried Minced onions Oregano Minced fresh garlic Crushed chilis
I used my pizza pan for this but you can also put these in a casserole dish as well. Put the rolls down, spread inside bottom and inside tops of buns with pizza sauce, load the pepperoni on, load the cheese on. Saving some cheese for top of buns as well. Put the top of rolls on.
For your glaze. Melt butter and mix in all ingredients. I use a brush to brush tops of sliders. Sprinkle rest of cheese on.
